To celebrate the launch of our new Choc Banana Custard Flavour, we thought we’d share a few of our favourite banana recipes. This banana protein bread is a great alternative to sugar packed cake, and can be stored for you to dig into all week when you need a protein fix!
Ingredients:
- 2 medium bananas, mashed
- 2 scoops of Whey Protein 80 (Choc Banana Custard Flavour)
- 170g whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 egg whites
- I scoop Stevia Extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 150ml water
- Pinch of salt
- Handful of chopped almonds
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C

Grease and line a bread tin

Sieve the
Whey Protein 80, Stevia Extract, flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon into a large bowl

In a different bowl mash the bananas and then add the egg whites and water

Mix the 2 bowls together and add the chopped
almonds

Pour the mixture into the bread tinb

Bake for 45-50 minutes. Put a knife in the middle, if it come outs clean your loaf is ready.

Leave to cool for 5-10 minutes then tip out of the tin
